How to Turn the Night Light On or Off on a Premium Metal Wireless Keypad
Overview
In this article you will learn how the premium metal wireless keypad's night light works and how to enable/disable the feature. The night light will illuminate once it is dark enough and turn back off once it is light enough. The light level is checked every 60 seconds. The night light is enabled by default.

Procedure
After each key
press you must move quickly to the next. If you wait too long before the
next key press, the keypad will exit programming mode and you will need
to start over. We recommend writing down the example below using your
own values before beginning the process. This will help you do the
process quickly, ensuring the keypad doesn't time out and exit
programming.
To Disable the Night Light
- Enter the master password then press '5'
- The default master password is "11111". The keypad will give 2 short beeps if this step is done correctly. If you get a long beep at this step, your master password may be incorrect. - Enter '1' and then '*'
- There will be a long beep after pressing *, this is normal. The night light should no longer turn on when dark.
To Enable the Night Light
- Enter the master password then press '5'
- The default master password is "11111". The keypad will give 2 short beeps if this step is done correctly. If you get a long beep at this step, your master password may be incorrect. - Enter '2' and then '*'
- There will be a long beep after pressing *, this is normal. The night light should now turn on when dark.
