How to Disable Latch Mode on the Low Current Receiver

Overview

In this article you will learn how to disable the "hold open" or latch mode feature on the low current receiver. P2, or relay 2, on the radio receiver can be configured to hold the gate open. In some cases it is desired to disable this feature. Once this procedure is complete, any keypad or remote that is paired to P2 will lock the gate open.

Procedure

Verify if Latch Mode is Enabled

Press the P2 push-button until the green LED light comes on, then release. The green LED light should be flashing.
A steady green LED indicates latch mode is already disabled on the receiver and continuing with this procedure is not necessary.

Disable Latch Mode (Return P2 Back to Momentary Mode)

  1. Using the narrow tool, press and hold P2 until the green LED turns on. The green LED light should
    be flashing.
  2. As soon as the LED turns on, release P2 and immediately press and release P1.
  3. The green LED should turn from flashing to steady. Latch mode is now disabled.

Verifying Latch Mode After Disabled

  1. Press and hold P2 until the green LED light turns on.
  2. The green LED light should be steady. If the green LED light is flashing, redo the Disable Latch Mode
